It took me about a week and a half to hit 1,000 and about 3 weeks into turking, i'm a bit over 3,500. The Set Masters helped me get my numbers up but they haven't been posted in over a week.

    I haven't been returning any... -____-
i can usually find a principal about 80% of the time.

    ESL teachers... like 20%.

  9. "You will be requested to allow pop-ups to open on your browser for part of the survey. Please be sure you have 30 minutes available to complete all three parts of the survey before you click on the first link. You must enter your Mechanical Turk three times, once for each link, and all three must match in order to receive credit. You must also copy and paste the survey code (which will be provided in the course of taking the survey) below."

So each link will lead me to a website REQUIRING ME to re-log into MTurk on the popup?

I dunno... sounds fishy to me....

  10. hi fellow turkers! haven't read the thread yet.. but i see edwards made some adjustments to the qualifications.. the 5k and 99% is sooooo much better than having to have the masters qual.. i want to thank everyone who made this possible by shooting him quick but polite e-mails explaining the situation.. he listened to all the suggestions and concerns which is wonderful :) time for dinner then turking.. make money folks!

Me too. Almost none of the teachers have the title ESL. But you can best be certain that someone is teaching ESL especially in TX where are lot of these schools are.

The 3 dollar hit took me about 20 minutes as well.

  16. It is a survey from Rutgers so it is a reputable survey. There was one popup for the second part of the survey. There was never any need to log into mturk multiple times...you just had to put your mturk id into each part of the survey. Plus they said they would email in about a month's time for a follow up.

For the $3.00 one, at the end it says

Thank you for taking our survey. Your response is very important to us. You will receive an email invitation to participate in the second survey at the email address you provided in approximately one month.

I do not remember giving my email. Either my memory is bad or i missed a question
