I'm seeing a lot of HITS where requesters are saying 20-45 minutes for 0.45

I personally think if they were to be on the other end of that deal they'd tell themselves hell no.

 

Fortunately they usually overestimate the amount of time it takes. Though that brings up an interesting point... The majority of HITs, those not worthy of being posted here, are slave labor or near slave labor. I wonder who actually does them.
