I'm writing Steve to let him know the links in his HITs are going to blank pages, but if you manually type it out, they work. This will cause lazy workers to turn in a lot of blanks and then cry like a baby when they get rejected and act like they don't know why.
These seem like a hell of a lot of work. That first one took me at least 10 minutes... I doubt many websites are going to have this information readily available...
I had something similar happen with a requester a month or so ago. The problem is, the pay wasn't good enough to compensate for having to manually frak around with the URL. It's not the worker's fault if a requester doesn't set up their hit to properly handle URLs.
Anyone still working on these? I'm loving that autoapprove time. I don't know. Most company websites have an "About Us" or "Our Team" page. The phone numbers are optional (and no business exec is going to publish their private line on the web) so I've just been entering the office line for the phone number. I figured I'd do a few and see how picky the requester is going to be.
Yeah but it will save people time from having to fight about rejections. It's pretty slow, and I'm tired of doing RNR's so I'll do a few of these while waiting for something better. I'd rather spend the few extra seconds typing in the address than risk getting anymore rejections tacked on to my account.
Steven is a really really good requester. I worked for him on a project outside of Mturk and don't have anything but positive things for him. As long as you try, he will not reject. He only rejects people who turn them in as blank in 30 seconds and it's clear they didn't even try to find the info. They seem like a lot of work but he is one of my favorites here. He is also very good at communicating if you ever need to talk to him about something.
I'm not doing them, but I suggest people pay close attention to this instruction there: If there is no Management Team listed on the website, use LinkedIn, or Google Search to document a MINIMUM OF TWO members of the management team. Any submissions that do not include at least two members of the management team will be rejected. Saw a few that only had 1 person and or 10 and decided to forgo.
Not one of the websites I went to had any names on them. I had to go to LinkedIn for all of them (I think I did four or five) so yeah, definitely not worth the time for me. I don't have the patience for cherry-picking. But more power to you if you can make them time-effective.
They're gone, so obviously people went ham on them. I wonder if they'll still be .22 after that or will he go Brelig.
Can anyone help me with the comp.social qual? It seriously seems random to me. I've answered them on par with the instructions, can't get higher than 69.
