That would be awesome, Andy. Wink/nudge, lol. ETA: Athena, I added Turk Alert. It was just a brain fart that I didn't add it before. Thanks for the reminder!
Thank you so much for this Nobody! I didn't have some of these- The pending earnings one and approval time are gems! I think it should be stickied as well.
Yes Nobody, I was planning to make a thread, you done that well. Andy please make this thread sticky.
By posting this you are 'nobody' to this great forum. You are GEM for this forum . I really feel very happy when people like to help anyone.
I am a newbie and am interested in obtaining Turkopticon. How do I get it as I don't see a link or web address for it. I have been Turking for about 3 months without it and have gotten 3 rejects (one was an error, requestor apologized, paid me but said she isn't able to reverse it) so I think it's time to get Turkopticon. Thanks in advance.
Just google turkopticon. Actually, wait: http://turkopticon.differenceengines.com/ Click the download button. It should be extremely self-explanatory from there.
Thanks Athena! Appreciate it! Will look forward to using it. I forgot to add the reason why I haven't been using Turkopticon was because I was using IE (Internet Explorer). I just downloaded Chrome so I'm ready to go!
Woo girl- I don't know how you lasted without it- They didn't have it a few years ago when I turked- and I got a lot of rejections- I didn't turk anymore after that. Until recently. You can use it with Firefox too- Separate add on though- It shows up a little arrow box next to each requester once you add it onto your browser and you just mouse over that and it tells you what the ratings are- And you can click it and see the exact ratings and what people said too- Also report your experience from that as well.
Great post. Just an FYI for Chrome users. Most of these scripts will likely be blocked. Google started blocking scripts that aren't available from the Google Store on 8/1. Due to this I now use Firefox, altho' i switch to Chrome for certain gigs.
Oh? Thanks for the info. I heard about problems with newer versions of Chrome. Wasn't sure if that was fixed but I'll see how that goes.
Aw, thanks riaz. I happen to think you're a gem as well. People like you are the reason I joined here. @angelface83: You're welcome for the post, I just put them in one place. @schlep: That really sucks. Thanks for the heads up, I added a notation. Also, in case I forgot before, thanks to all the awesome coders who made these scripts for us turkers.
I finally got TO to work after fiddling around with it for awhile.. as for any of these great scripts that ppl are making, no dice. I don't really like Firefox after using Chrome for so long now, but I might have to switch back to take advantage of all these great scripts.
There's a Firefox add-on called "rotate image" that I've found useful. A lot of times, a hit will include an image that the requester has mistakenly laid on its side or upside down, and this add-on gives you a right-click option to turn the thing 90* in either direction, and keep turning it until you get it where you want it.
Download the Tampermonkey extension from the Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo After that extension is installed, you should be able to add scripts.
