I would have to say Maggie. I completed 3800 of her HITs on October 16th, and they were all approved the next morning. Pretty amazing I must say.
Mine is Crowdsource and Kj Ross, the hits are easy and if you have questions they are willing to answer them. Which is awesome because so many don't.
So far, I like Johnathan Koppel. His stuff is quick, easy and pays fairly. I also like Scott Koznek quite a bit, but he doesn't post a lot unfortunately (his stuff is court and legal documentation, which I'm VERY familiar with and I can bust those out in seconds). I'm just starting with transcription - so far I'm working with ClariTrans and they seem to be not too bad.
I like Claritrans, but I have a question about the feedback. Can someone tell me what "Thanks" means, versus "4:Thanks"?
As far as I understand it, Thanks is equal to 5:Thanks, which is the highest you can get. 4:Thanks is good, and 3:Thanks is the minimum for approval.
MedCrowd has to be tops on the list ATM. The great ones come and go as their individual needs change as requesters. But right now - MEDCROWD!
MedCrowd is at the top for me! The combination of the pay, how reasonable the HITs are, and how Mark L. has worked with us catapults MedCrowd to the top for me. Matt Rubin is a close second
I have been working for claritrans for a while now(say 4 months). Could you please share the experience that you had with the requester which would help us workers. I mean atleast we can try to avoid the situation if possible.
I emailed them with the same question and the reply was "It also means a 4". That's it. So, maybe workers forget to rate the transcript a 4 when you get only THANKS.
Undoubtedly for me, the best requester has to be TWO LAKES RESEARCH. I remember the first time I did his HIT. I thought he is a one time requester. When I first did the HIT for him, the requester was fairly new. A few days passed and they flashed once again. The HITs began disappearing faster with each passing day. Few months later, and now a whooping 478 workers are watching him. I have seen two lakes grow from a common requester to a superhero for turkers!!!
I'm able to work consistently and make good money from Productrnr & netmsi HITs. Unfortunately, both of them haven't been posting enough HITs since new year.
