I hope I don't miss the qual test. I work M - F day hours 8/day and cannot get on board at those times so I miss out on a lot and I really would like to do these hits.

Hm, popping in to see what to do in order to get the qualification and here you are, answering exactly what I needed to hear :D

I'm definitely looking forward to the next test then! Seems as though people really enjoy working on your HITs :)

In electronics I can see one end of the cable but not the other. One in particular was a 3.5m jack and most likely ended in a 3.5m jack. A component jack would have stood out in the wound up cable. Do you want us to label it as a 3.5 to 3.5 audio cable? Or mark as unsuitable for tagging? There are certain cables that are more common than others. Would you rather have us label the cables with the most common cable type?

Edit: Also shouldn't lamps be Electronics? It would be great if you could post the category list guidelines. Thanks!

Edit Edit: :) On cables I'm only using items that ship from amazon or have a reasonable cost. It's unrealistic to quote a $0.01 - $2.00 to get cable replacements. These prices have high shipping charges that usually equal what the "free" shipping (or regular price else where) price from Amazon.

If you can only see one end of the cable, the HIT is more open ended. Put whichever one you think is most common. :)

Yes, lamps are considered Electronics. :)

You shouldn't ever include the shipping cost with the cost of the item. We don't actually buy them from Amazon or elsewhere, we just want to get a good idea of the price of the item, only, and searching online stores is the best way. I just realized this isn't in the directions and will add it now. Thanks for your attention to detail!

Quick question that I'm sure you've covered already. I did some early that include a couple CDs (I couldn't see titles of them) but I found a generic CD (which was around 11.99 I believe) and did that as that's pretty much the average price of a CD. I'm hoping that was correct :)

Yes, that's exactly what you should do :)

It also might seem right to use the price of a blank CD-R, but this isn't because a music CD costs more. Thanks! :)

I'm not including shipping. Just using it to judge whether or not cost is "reasonable or realistic". Some sellers price the cord at a penny then charge an inflated shipping cost as a marketing strategy. It is unrealistic to be able to purchase a cord or charger for a $0.01 to $2.00 anywhere. I just wanted to make sure that we should be using the more "realistic" price listings on amazon.

Probably didn't help I wrote the post at the end of a long work day. LOL.

My mom loves these hits. Thanks for being here and answering questions for us. It's really appreciated.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a time frame of when the next set of qualifications will be going out? Thanks. :)

I just had two items that were completely mis-categorized.

A large scented candle (the type that comes in a glass jar with a lid) was labeled "Juice". and a bottle of Estee Lauder's wrinkle-correcting serum was labeled "Nail Polish."

I wouldn't be so annoyed, except you can clearly see on the labels of these items "Candle" and "Wrinkle Lifting / Firming Serum."

I am also looking forward to your next qual test. I sent you an email a while back, but sounds like you have probably been bomboarded with them. Will be checking on this thread. Everyone seems to love your its.

Same here. I'm hoping to be able to take the test. Are you going to be accepting new workers anytime in the near future?
