OK, a slow day to ask some questions 1--I've seen mentions of 2 TO sites + another new one. What's the story on these? 2--Where's the new qual list page? 3--So does the @ summon people? @Flora, you have one of my favorite avatars, a gecko. I keep a collection, to use on various sites where I register. I can't believe you people found new hits today.
They wanted to make TO better with some different rules. The old one is kind of a mess. There's actually another 3rd TO going around, called Turkerview. TV for short. That one is more specialized with hourly wage. New qual list page? Do you mean where you want to see your qualifications that you were assigned to? The gecko is cute. I came across it by accident and decided to use it on a whim.

I survived because I went to bed earlier than you lol. Had to get up early and catch a flight to Maine where I'm currently celebrating a belated New Years.
The worker site still keeps screwing me up. I use the scroll-to-workspace script to get the useless mturk header info off the screen and maximize the space for the actual work. Snag now is that if clicking a survey link causes the survey to open in the frame instead of a new tab, it is not immediately obvious since there is no nice box around the frame. I keep hitting the end of surveys, moving back to the previous tab to paste the code and panicking because the HIT page is gone. I just almost screwed up badly because the previous frame was for a different survey. Had the code pasted in and was ready to submit when something felt off and I double checked. That tiny design decision -- removing the box around the frame -- is a major pain in the ass.
I disagree on which one is a mess. On the new version of TO, a requester gets a clean slate every time he posts a hit with a new name, making it that much easier for scammers to sucker you into slaving away for their serial-rejecting, slave-wage-paying asses. The original TO may not be perfect, but it's better than that.
He also has a cute curly tail. So which TO are the various panda scripts using? I have MTS. Not my quals, I saw someone mention a page of all the quals, but I don't see it.
Hit Forker is using old and TV. Hit Finder/MTS is using old TO and new TO (2) Scraper is using old TO No idea about a page of quals.
I agree about the clean slate. What I meant about a mess with the old one is that it's filled with old meaningless stuff and some people list 100 reviews all in one same requester which makes us scroll down a long column. That part annoys me. People don't go back and change TO once they get approved after getting rejected. We have to weed through the reviews.
I got up 1:30 PM, and I still haven't done the laundry sitting by my door for 2 days. Or fixed the things around my apt that are on my list. Amazing how it becomes evening so fast.
