That was the funniest part to me. I don't think I've ever reported a single HIT other than when it had a broken link.

 

Everyday is grim for non masters, non 5 people.

When I was new, and oh so idealistic, I reported one for a TOS violation. Then I found this forum and learned how things really work

 

I bet Amazon only cares when it's something they could face legal ramifications for, rather than for the things most Turkers care about. (Or if they get a TON of complaints and it pisses them off hahahaha).

The Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts are really good. I got them at CVS.

 

That sounds delicious! It'll pair nicely with my pumpkin beer.

Silly Julia. Has she know idea what a pissed off turker can do? While I have never done her hits, I am guessing from context that she has you posting reviews on some website. If she would not give me my money, I would get my payment from the satisfaction that comes from posting a review on the site which says "do not do business with this person . . . all the positive reviews she has have been bought and (sometimes) paid for . . . here is a link to her offer of payment"

I ate some questionable green beans from the back of the refrigerator.

 

The other day, somebody posted a link to a reddit thread where Adultnet said that they were recruiting for work on their own site. They said that Amazon told them that the reason they were suspended was because of complaints. While I only ever did 2 or 3 hits for them (I found them underpaid and depressing), I really do not see why people would report them. The hits indicated that they were porn and had an adult qualification req. It is not like somebody could be blindsided by them.

I know what you mean, I lived really dangerously to get to 10K, probably did well over 1,000 Classify This hits. Once I hit 10K, I never looked at them again.
