Howdy folks, I just wanted to introduce myself here on mturk. My name is Dustin and I work for x8 Data Co. out of Texas. We specialize in data collection to help large corporations improve their B2B marketing campaigns. We have a handful of clients that will bring me back to mturk in the future, but currently we are in the middle of a pilot that if done correctly could lead to a good amount of HITs posted on a monthly basis. I am here to answer any questions you have about the work. As long as I am up I'll be around this thread, so ask away. Thanks for the help and really happy to be part of the community, -Dustin
Welcome! And Glad to have you! Worker ID#: ************ (removed due to some morons) Happy to do your work!
Hi Dustin I was the Turk that asked you to get in touch with RWStein via e-mail, glad you are on the forums here with us. I believe they are a great resource for Mturks and requester's alike. Thanks for the fair paying HITs and all the work, I hope we do a good job for you !
Thanks for the kind words folks. Happy to be here. I can tell this will be a great resource for finding high quality workers in the future.
Hey Dustin. Thanks for stopping by and for the work. Great HITs. Great communication. I'll get back to work now.
Hi Dustin! Thanks so much for joining us here! I'm a little confused on something. Nearly every HIT I got in which the person did not work for the company listed, it was a matter of wrong person, same name. For example, John Doe in the HIT didn't work at ABC Company, but a different John Doe did. Do you want the correct info for John Doe #1 or the correct page for John Doe #2? Hope that made sense
It did! If the issue is that it is a wrong person, same name, the webpage is not valid and you should move on to the second part of the HIT. In your scenario above we are only interested in John Doe #2, who you can tie to the company that we've provided you. Hope that cleared it up, if not I'll see if I can explain a bit better.
Dustin, I have a question about .07 Hits. Most of the pages that are coming up are PDF's. Are we supposed to link the PDF or look for another website? Thanks!
Hi Dustin, I just wanted to know if it was okay to link a pdf with a persons name and title listed on it? I have found that a lot of companies seem to release their info on PDF's, rather than on a site with just straight html. Thanks
