lol, concentra is one of the larger national urgent care providers...so ya you'll see it a lot. ~ Mark L.
OMG! Thanks! Concentra= Services and UCOAO! I think we are all learning as we go. I'm sure we made mistakes but we try!
This is normal, especially since many of you came on within the last month and never had experience with this HIT type as eveyrone else did when we first started putting these types out back in Oct-ish (2012). ~ Mark L.
Here's what I found out works on some cases. There was a page with alot of reading to do, I used 'FIND' feature and found 2 Accreditations. Makes it quicker to scan.
I got to the party a little late today(stupid phone doesn't alert me of new emails) but I guess I didn't miss much. The HITs I did get to do took me like 3 minutes a piece. I'm sure I would get better at them with practice, but this had to be my least favorite medcrowd batch yet. Oh well, I'm thankful for the batch anyways. Thank you Mark!
Theres another page for Concentra which has an exhaustive list. Check this: http://www.concentra.com/patients/what-we-treat/
Yea most people don't like them, and I'm sorry for that. Urgent Care sites are all pretty shitty. ~ Mark L.
Mark, one suggestion pertaining to HIT coding. I found a couple of cases where the site was not accessible, I selected Site Down and clicked on Submit, but it did not allow me to submit saying the above two field are mandatory. I then had to select 'None' for accreditation and entered 'Site Down' in comment box for Services. Shouldn't the system automatically capture this once we select 'Site Down' from the menu?
Mark, I submitted all the Concentras with n/a for the accreditation. I found it under "Patients and Families... Urgent Care...Why Concentra?" Like Flora said they are accredited by UCAOA http://www.concentra.com/patients/why-concentra/ I am so sorry, I should have taken the time to really look.
That is something that is beyond my skill level to implement, but that doesn't mean I can't try lol. ~ Mark L.
It's alright, like I said, these are really shitty sites. Learning through them takes time...especially when they are as frustrating as they are. ~ Mark L.
I also used none for accreditation on Concentra, but the instructions said to spend only a short about of time looking and it is a large site, so I'm assuming this is fine? I used the urgent care service list, is this ok?
No worries.... two clicks more for us....lol Just something I wanted to bring to your attention - I don't want you to fry your brain by getting into coding it, I thought someone programmed the HITs for you. The HIT design is wonderful.
And so did I, feeling like a cry baby...lol.... coz I was on this page and read some of the stuff but failed to look at the logo.... my bad!!
