I want the option that says "I will give F.A.M.E. 1,000 HITs per day" . Haha jk; in all seriousness, keep it the way it is.
I am glad that many of you have supported my idea to split the times. I think this would make it fair for everyone. To keep it the same way is great for those of you who can access MedCrowd's hits that early, but there are many of us who can't. I have been with MedCrowd since there first batch when people were still complaining about pay and hadn't caught on yet to what a great requester this is. I miss these hits tremendously, but since more people have flooded the hits they go so fast that with my schedule rarely see the hits anymore. Two batches would make it fair for everybody to have a chance to work on their favorite hit. I am reaching out to you day workers in hopes that you at least try to see this from my perspective, which is also the perspective of many others that are left out in the dark. You will still have just as much work from MedCrowd because your workforce will be cut in half for your hits. You will lose nothing, but people who are losing right now will at least have a chance! *** To the jerk that has no courage to leave me a message with their name attached and steal reputation for a different opinion: Thanks for the loss of reputation with this message left: "No one cares if you have a chance. Stop being selfish." That's real classy... instead of leaving anonymous messages why don't you attach your face to my comment and state your thoughts? And I'm selfish? No- my idea is fair for everyone, and you are very SELFISH by taking away my reputation because you have a different opinion. Grow up and show up, or shut up! PS I am thankful to Marc and have emailed him on multiple occasions letting him know of my gratitude for being so generous that he has supported a poll and opens himself up to worker ideas. This is what makes him so great. By me having an alternate opinion from some people does not give you the right to slander me (you don't know me) and be rude. I am the least selfish person you could meet, and I put many hours of dedication and effort into working outside of mTurk with requesters to try and improve conditions for mTurk workers. Before slandering someone and labeling someone you should first research who they are.
As soon as you split the batches and assign separate quals for each, people will want to start moving from one group to the other for schedule changes, or to work the “next big thing” on mTurk, or whatever. The KISS principal is the best principal.
As far as I'm concerned I am doing this to pay bills. So If someone is missing this because of a "real job" that is just to bad(your making money anyway). I believe that if you need this money you will make yourself available whenever the batch is available. I am very appreciative of Mark and his consideration of everyone's opinions, but it is mturk life if you miss a batch you miss a batch. All in all post the work and it will be done! Thanks for the great hits Mark!

Keep it the way it is or if you split it don't assign quals to each group. I think making separate groups and quals for the separate groups would create a LOT of extra work for Mark. No one is "stealing" any hits. If you're available you work on them if you're not then well maybe you'll get in on the next batch. Mark already does a lot for us by limiting how many people have the medcrowd qual as it is. Just because you have the qual doesn't mean you're entitled to a certain number of hits.
