Can't Find Great HITs 11/20 Free-Form Friday!

yeah, some of the 'explanations' they gave me didn't even match what was marked!

 

OCMP either annoys the hell out of me or just outright pisses me off.

The quals I am permitted to take are usually the crappy ones, and no matter which OCMP it is, the qual tests are awful. The correct answers are frequently wrong, sometimes inconsistent. It feels like a coin toss or two is involved in getting a qual.

More often, it simply decides not to let me do the qual hits on the grounds of "people from your country are not allowed". Last I checked North Carolina was still part of the US. Why in hell they cannot just use and trust Amazons location settings like everyone else is beyond me. This has been the case for every OCMP5 qual I've seen and all but one of the 6's. Also WVI and others using their software. The comical one was when it declared that people from my country (America) could not do the "Made in America" HITs recently. They outsourced THAT?

Thing is, I am 95% convinced it is BS. My ISP is AT&T, not some local nobody, so surely my internet is not configured is some unusual way. It very much feels like an option in the OCMP software that can be set up to exclude based on some criteria (perhaps my IP shows I am from a rural southern county and they checked the "no rednecks" box, or perhaps... well, you can let your paranoia run wild). The "your country is not allowed" message is just the excuse they give.

It wouldn't matter so much if it wasn't for the fact that of the all qual HITs that I've seen since I've joined, the only really lucrative ones have almost all been OCMPs.

OK, rant over. I feel the sudden urge to play a game and kill a whole bunch of... things.

 

They auto approve in like 15 seconds and I don't think the red is there to say it's wrong, it's just making a point. They're like a qualification

 

it just so happened i got a rejection from p9r today.

mind you, i never do them...ever. but did 2 today.

anyway, saw a rejection and immediately got into my nasty email mode. i was pumped. wondering, "who rejected me? Oh its on!"

Started scrolling back, almost excited (getting that pre-rejection email war rush) to see what lied in for the battle ahead.

then i saw it was p9r...

immediately, no more shits given.

 

The OCMP69 quals are a new level of horrid. They are pretty much impossible to do correctly, not sure how anybody is getting the qual - he must be manually reviewing them.

I did the qual HITS for the "review" hits. On one of the columns, the rate said $150,00. So I marked it incorrect, and put $150.00. I got it wrong - the answer said everything was good. So before I submitted, I left feedback saying the HIT was incorrect, since the rate had a comma instead of a period, so the answer should be incorrect. He replies and said it is correct, that the answer is close enough. So I responded and said "How are we suppose to know what to mark incorrect if you accept incorrect answers? Let me know if you want quality work." Never heard back.

Sorry to hear you got a rejection, I have in the past 28 hours made $80 doing NOTHING but p9r's HIT's. They're relatively easy to do once you get ahang of them. They also reverse rejections very frequently due to errors on their side.

$2.85 per hour sounds exaggerated

 

Of course I didn't work straight through the 28 hours, however all of my HIT's are between .10 and .19 cents and they take a easy 10-15 seconds to do.. sometimes less

Have you tried it? I thought it said somewhere that it went by central time. If that's case, you still have 1 hour.

I went back to the ocmp qual hits (I don't know why!), just did a really long one and I can't get it to submit! It's not giving me any errors or anything just won't submit...argh!

 

I have been having the same problem and after doing 18 lines it's really frustrating. I am almost out of time on it.

edit: I refreshed the frame and it worked.

 

Y'all are crazy.

 

Finally...finally got that Rudman knocked out...Can't give a time estimate because I slowly chipped way for like 12 hours. I hope it approves as I was pretty confused at some points. If not I will message him to see if I can correct whatever might be amiss. He already responded to one email.

Even though today is my best day so far I am still dissapointed. Take away the $100 HIT and I've only made $56...$44 short of my goal. I should have hit $200 today

Still pretty to see numbers like this on my dashboard though. I want to see this everyday
