I played it most of today. Cracks me up. The voice acting is very good, but the voice *recording* is a lil bit ghetto. Everything else is fantastic, though. Totally inspired by Quest for Glory. There's also a freebie on Steam that's based in that same style called Heroine's Quest - http://store.steampowered.com/app/283880/ Downloaded it the other day but haven't tried it yet. Supposed to be good, though.
Yeah, CC is up to 4 players. Haven't played Monaco; Googled it, looks interesting. Oh, Baldur's Gate, so awesome. Also Baldur's Gate II and Neverwinter Nights. But Neverwinter Nights II can die in a fire.
Celebro when you see this I challenge you to the song Raging Fire by Phillip Phillip. I got a feeling you'd kill this.
You have to keep the self control under wraps. I haven't splurged on myself in 10 months. I have allocated $10 to this Steam sale. It doesn't help that I found someone on Craigslist a few days ago with a massive haul of game. He coincidentally has all the the Xbox and Xbox 360 games I have been looking forward to buying.
Oh god, I had that shit and Mean Streets way back in the day on floppy LOL. They just had a Tex Murphy bundle with all of them included, but I wasn't sure if playing them today would be as good as before, so I didn't bite.
Do you remember how dope 7th Guest was back in the day? I just googled it and they give it a 6/10 on Steam, but at the time it seemed liked the greatest game ever, lol. How? Coco and Mo are on at the same time. Big shit's popping.
probably because people rate it at todays standards. 7th guest was great. good atmosphere. imagine how bored people would be trying to play myst or riven...or better yet any lucas arts point and click adventure in 2015.
"(300 word minimum) Do you have a bar mitah or bat mitzvah? Did you pay for your child's bar mitzvah or bat mitzah?" 75 cents Wow.
I didn't play that. If I remember correctly, wasn't that kind of a scary game? Along with 11th Hour or something like that. I wasn't into all that LOL. I bought the entire Myst collection on GOG but haven't played through it yet. But yeah, it's so unlike things that are out right now. Same with stuff like Broken Sword, Tales of Monkey Island, etc. etc. etc. I really enjoy those, though. Kind of glad they're still around.
I thought about the episode "The Yada Yada" about the dentist in Seinfeld. Jerry is mad at the dentist for making all those Jewish jokes.
