You can do them without rejections as long as you don't submit a HIT where you can't find the sender.

No way. Yesterday morning he approved all the ones I did the night before. Just hasn't approved any of the 40 cent HITs yet.
And what's with all this shots have been fired I see you saying? :p Hasn't only one person got rejections from rubin last night?
The way I see it, I have nothing to worry about since I do them all accurately and spend time putting the schedule in the comments and stuff like that.

Yeh, I spend a little too much time doing them sometimes. Just to make sure my work is good. I'm very thorough.

Didn't rubin say something about people taking advantage of them? I understand their frustration but I feel their hits are taking advantage of the worker when the info they give us is wrong, and we waste many minutes trying to find the right info, and then having to return the hit.

So were the rejections and block by Rubin on a turker yesteday simply a mistake on Rubin's part or were others blocked too?

The HITs (Instructor HITs) are based on the results of the course HITs. So when a worker takes advantage of Piazza, the worker is ruining the HITs for everyone.

what wrong info are you referring to? The info on instructor hits comes from course hits.

He's always been sporadic for me. Sometimes they'll approve same day, sometimes it takes 3 or 4 days. The instructor HITs have a 5 day auto approval on them.

I'm just quoting someone else. Although, 200 rejections to one person is one big ass shot.

I agree, I just submitted one with N/A's and a nice detailed comment. I aint skerd.

He should have set up a qual from the very beginning with a qual batch like medcrowd does. It would have avoided a lot of problems, and the passive-aggressive lowering and raising of the pay is annoying. And I wish he would load hits with only a few schools at a time, it would save a lot of time and would be fine even at a lower rate, but the way they are all mixed up now it takes more time to do them.

That is the info I am referring too. I know that other workers do it, but it still gets passed onto someone else who then wastes time trying to find the right info. Time is money on turk.

I love rubins though, I do a bunch of them. I just have an issue with them saying they were being taken advantage of.

Im a big N/A-er on the course hits. He shouldnt have a problem with that at all. I looked for the information, the information was unable to be found, why should i return the hit when i did the work?!

Yeah if the course isn't offered at a school I send a link to the course catalog and say it isn't available at that school. I feel the same way. I put the time in so I should get paid.

Also, can anyone point out to where Rubin said he's being taken advantage of?

Yesterday, someone mentioned readabl and I checked them out -not qualified, you only have 2486 HITs...later that afternoon, when I looked for HITs available to me, I had gone over 2500!!! I mean, I knew I had gone over 2500 but the stats hadn't caught up with me yet...so, on to 3,000, then 5,000 and if I haven't worn my brain out by then, 10,000!!!! :cheer2:
