Which Browser is your favorite for turking?

I use Apple Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and I.E. 9 browsers for turking in that order. I wish I could find the Script extension for apple, so I could make Firefox's extensions compatible with Apple's, but I cannot find the right scripts. Other then that, I love Apple's Safari browser, because it is lightning fast. Proven faster then firefox and chrome by large margins on pcmag tests. Also, love the auto fill on apple. I never even have to finish typing a phrase or word. What about you guys?

Never tried Safari, might give it a go and see if it's better than Chrome for me too..

For any of you that use Apple Safari could you please help me out. I'm trying to download greasefit. I found the download link, but it won't download right or something. I can't find "Greasefit" in the extension directory if anyone could help.

I prefer Safari for turking because it's faster, and also the Auto Fill for the address and search bar is amazing.

I mostly use Safari, coz it wont slow down my PC, and also FireFox, its just for using the scripts. Grease

 

Firefox, because that's what I use for everything. Takes up too much space to have more than one browser installed.

 

Chrome is best one for me.

 

Safari but there are no scripts for it so I switch over to Firefox to use TO

 

Opera > Chrome > Firefox > IE in that order.

Opera is my primary browser.

Having multiple browsers always comes handy when a particular site don't work in one.

 

I personally use Palemoon which is a stripped down Firefox browser. I also use chrome. The fastest browser of 2012 is IE 10 and IE9 but I don't use them because they have been known to have security issues although IE10 is supposed to have corrected them. They all rate pretty much within a millisecond of each other and it depends on what addons and scripts that you use because they slow them down. It really depends on what you want, there are addons that provide the perks that you are touting with Safari. It really just comes down to preferences. I prefer Palemoon because I can use Firefox Sync and keep all my passwords and bookmarks over many different computers and phones.

 

Opera has that feature too, Opera Link. Didn't knew any other browser had similar functionality.

The Pale Moon project looks interesting. Hmm.. tried to install it now and got this: "Cannot install. Are you using old hardware?" Bummer, I guess I'll stick to Opera for now.

 

I've seen on another forum quite a few people use this Palemoon for strictly turking. Seem to like it.

Well, guys...looks like I'm an old-timer...LOL. I basically use IE (unless I need Firefox for some surveys and such). And here's why: I can make the screen up to 400% larger...now,that's a little excessive, but when I am doing tasks like business cards or recipe transcriptions, it really helps to make the screen bigger.

So, if this feature is accessible on Firefox or Chrome, please let me know how to do it! Thanks.

 

Hold Ctrl and Num+ for zooming in, Ctrl and Num- combination for zooming out, Ctrl and Num0 for default view. This is pretty much the same in all the browsers.

Another popular cross-browser method is to hold down Ctrl while scrolling your mouse up and down for zooming in and zooming out respectively.
