The question was whether to use the link www.havard.edu or http://www.harvard.......It doesn't matter as far as getting approval from Rubin. Whether you're doing .20 or .30 you can enter the entire http or not - I've done noth and both have been accepted. Meaning, I sometimes don't need to open the page when all info is in the description. This is what I am referring to for clarification.
Sasquatch - I'm not going to respond to your entire post because we're all tired of this, but I think the main issue that's come up and what's got me so pissed is that there are 2 arguments right now: 1. Matt Rubin cut his pay, and to complain about it is stupid because employer's have absolutely no sort of standard to be held against because employers can do no wrong. 2. Matt Rubin cut his pay, and to complain about it is stupid because complaining won't get that pay changed I'm far more agreeable to 2. But to say that a hefty pay cut (and not necessarily this one, but more the culmination of all of them) is something that we deserve and are self-delusional if we don't love it when we get one, that's an argument I'm never going to bite. That's just defeatism for the worker. I *think* you're arguing point 2. I'm pissed at people arguing point 1.
Eh. This is hardly skilled work... but I'm in the privileged position of not really needing the money, so. Also, the spreadsheet is very helpful!
Well i woke up to a new rejection, she actually said have a merry christmas at the end which pissed me off lol.
I don't remember anyone ever saying "employers can do no wrong". I think a point was made that an employer will do what's in their best interest. You don't listen to what people say. You just blurt ad hominem attacks calling people "apologists" without considering that other viewpoints just as valid exist.
i don't want to belabor it any more either. i just don't think anyone believes in that first point. we're all after the dollars and cents here (mainly cents), so i can't imagine anyone is happy about it. if someone mentions that it's still great pay, that's not being apologist, it's just trying to shed some positive light on the situation from a larger perspective. it just seems that you're more upset that other people aren't as upset as you. anyway, it's far past time that this discussion got its own thread if it's going to continue, otherwise, let's pound those pennies...
I got one from yesterday. I guess I submitted a Course Atlas hit without actually selecting anything. Ooooooops.
omg yessss I was starting to sweat bullets about this, not the fear of them being rejected just that I realllllly need that $$$
highlight, right click, and use the copy option on the menu that pops up. i find that ctrl+c is really hit or miss. also, there's a split second where you'll see the 'working' icon while the pdf actually makes the copy, don't click away while that happens.
Most of all my mine are getting approved so I can guess I can tell if two classes are the same or not .
haha yeah, 95% of mine were identical descriptions, but one mentioned # of credits and prerequisites while the other one didn't. the whole time i'm thinking to myself "omg i can do this!"
I should have mentioned I'm using the right mouse copy function because ctrl-c is wonky. It only happens sometimes on certain pdf's. Might be my firefox pdf handler or something. Just a bit annoying.
Hey just wondering, what's your guys rejection percentage. I am at 98.9 and only have 2 rejected, sucks.
sounds like you haven't done too many hits. whenever there isn't anything around worth doing for the money, build up a cushion for potential rejections by doing some easy, fast-approving but low-pay hits like oscar smiths. it'll help a lot...
Approved 99.9% Rejected 0.1% I have 9 rejects. If you only have 2 rejects are are down to 98.9 approval, you need to build up your approvals with some easy HITs, even if they are low paying.
