If anyone is having a bit of trouble with these, this trick has helped me a bit. Do a search for the provided course title plus the name of the university. Generally, this search will lead you to a course number. I personally feel most comfortable when I can give them a link to the current catalog or course schedule on the university site (I don't like the link I provide to be to a course review site or something). So, once you've got a possible current course number and title, do another Google search with the course number and title and school name. If you're lucky, this might give you a direct link to the information on the official university website. That's when I feel like I've really accurately found what they are asking for in the HIT. I'm sorry if that was wordy. Hope it helps somebody else. As sas has pointed out, this is of no help when the damn site is down.
sounds like too much work, and remember, next semester's courses may not be posted online yet, or may be in PDFs which aren't indexed as well by google. i've found every catalog i've looked for so far: PALOMAR COLLEGE: http://www.palomar.edu/catalog/2012/contents.htm LIBERTY UNIVERSITY: http://www.liberty.edu/media/1109/2012-2013-LU-Undergraduate-Catalog.pdf COLLEGE OF LAKE COUNTY: http://www.clcillinois.edu/catalog/catalog2012/Courses.pdf AMERICAN RIVER COLLEGE: http://www.arc.losrios.edu/catalog.htm FLORIDA STATE JACKSONVILLE: http://floridastatecollegecatalog.fscj.edu/index.php CITY COLLEGE OF SAN FRANCISCO: https://www.ccsf.edu/NEW/en/educational-programs/ccsf-catalog/courses-by-department.html EAST LOS ANGELES COLLEGE: http://www.elac.edu/academic/doc/11_13/ELAC_General_Catalog_2011_2013.pdf MIAMI DADE COLLEGE: https://sisvsr.mdc.edu/catalog/subject_des.aspx?&courtyp=CRD GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY: http://www.gcu.edu/Documents/upload/Admissions/2012-2013_Academic_Catalog_v1.0.pdf ASHFORD COLLEGE: http://www.ashford.edu/static/media/Ashford_Catalog_2012-13_WEB_final2.pdf SANTA ANA COLLEGE: http://www.sac.edu/CatalogAndSchedule/Documents/2012-2013 Catalog/SAC_Catalog_2012-2013.pdf FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY: http://catalog.fiu.edu/2012_2013/Undergraduate/ VALENCIA COLLEGE: http://valenciacollege.edu/catalog/ EDIT: This works better for Valencia unless you happen to know their department designators off the top of your head: http://valenciacollege.edu/catalog/current/ COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN NEVADA: http://www.csn.edu/PDFFiles/Admissions/Schedules/CSN_12-13_Catalog.pdf
Confirmed I'm the worst Rubin HITter ever. I have the course catalog in front of me, and none of these classes are even close.
Snaps to Sas! I've been keeping my browser tabs open and Firefox hates me now. I'll reference your post instead, you ROCK!
well do more hits and dont bitch, Everyone has to work on shitty hits at first. u ntill you get 10k or so you will not be able to do much of anything good.
you are... well, you're consistent, i'll give you that... EDIT: also, i'm waiting for the next new college i see to be "hollywood upstairs medical college"
What are the best HITs to do for the sake of increasing my approved HIT count? Redwood HITs are quick and easy, but inconsistent, although I will do them when they're available.
Porn Flagging hits usually instant approve. I think I did Jim Young and something else when I was starting up.

Here's one of them: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2QPDNVP3TVOKQ2B21UP7WEO0L4X30N These guys are kind of strict, so flag even the borderline stuff.
No reason to be rude. I have made $63.99 on 115 hits. Yes I am still a noob and I admit it, however this is why I joined this forum.
the saddleback link is just for the school of engineering, which is of course very useful for these hits, but here is the entire catalog: http://www.saddleback.edu/cc/documents/courses_000.pdf
