Then there was the fake Andy K guy who "accidently" chose the same requester name as one of the best mTurk has ever seen, who put up a batch of thousands of 0.00 HITs and was like, "woops, that name is already taken?' and "hey, I'll pay in bonuses."

Yup, on one of them I totally wanted to write "GET OUT OF THE FAST LANE!!!!"

The sad and pathetic reality is that if such a thing existed, I would probably use it to talk to farm animals....

 

We have chickens so I can talk to farm animals when I want.

 

So... my tampermonkey is broke. It says it's enabled but yet it's grey'ed out. It broke after I exported my CSV because my database apparently decided to stop updating. It hasn't been updating hits done but the other scripts like projected were working. Now tons of my scripts have caution symbols in my Tampermonkey dashboard.

Anyone know what on earth I did??? How do I get Tampermonkey working again?

edit: ok my Tampermonkey started working again on it's own but... should I just delete Hit DB and reinstall? I exported all my hits so I should be okay right?

I haven't used hit DB. I am new to mturk and scripts in general. I will say that it seems like you are at least the 3rd person to have trouble with hitdb today though.

 

You can try reinstalling it. In Utilities in the Tampermonkey dashboard click Export to download a .zip containing all of your scripts. Uninstall and reinstall the extension. Once that's done go to Utilities again and this time click choose file next to Import and choose the .zip you downloaded before.

 

Gah. I deleted the Hit DB I had in there. Installed this one, https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/864-mturk-hit-database-testing, but yet it's like nothing changed.

And my goals one is stuck saying I'm at 79% of my daily goal but I haven't been there in a few days. It won't clear. And my weekly projected won't update.

AudioKites are loading up, and my word are they bad.

 

I lost my old data today (accidentally deleted it). My hitdatabase would no longer work/update. Tried uninstalling it and re-installing it still didnt work. Had to delete the old folder that my database used to be stored in, then update database again and it worked. Not sure if that process will be the same for you if you are trying to restore a saved DB.

Thanks. I'm so frustrated. I just backed up and then deleted and reinstalled TM. That didn't work. I have a blank requester database now and tried to import but have no idea what exactly to paste into the input box. I"ll check out your link. I should just wait until morning now. It's after 1. So tired. I'll prob just mess it up even more.

I just want my weekly projected and stuff to work again too lol
